We just finished our first Cookie Dough sale and made $7500. We used the Goodies Factory out of Holland, MI. Excellent company to work with. We only had 430 students selling, so not a bad profit for a group that size!

WHAT TIME OF THE YEAR IS BEST TO DO COOKIE DOUGH?
WHY? WHAT IS THE PROFIT PERCENTAGE WE SHOULD EXPECT? WE HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT DOING JUST COOKIE DOUGH INSTEAD OF GIFTWRAP...WHAT DO YOU THINK?

We haven't used this for our school, but our soccer club does it. They make a lot of money with it. I just got back from the PTO Show and I was impressed with the Joe Corbi's pizza and cookie dough. Especially because they had recently signed a contract with Crayola and were doing colored pizzas and cookie doughs! They had samples of the pizzas there. They were cool to look at and very tasty! They had doughs in purple and orange with different colored sauces like green! The cheese was still white. I can just see my kids loving to make these pizzas with the funky colors! And I can see them having fun with making these pizzas at birthday parties! And although they didn't have colored samples there, the cookie dough looked really fun too! And it tasted great! They also have regular pizza kits that they sell as part of the fundraiser, for those people who just couldn't adjust to purple pizza dough with green sauce! :D

We used a company called Southern Resources, based in Georgia. Let me know if you need more info.

We have sold cookie dough for the past two years, this year we sold $89000 worth of cookie dough--with a profit of $40000. We are a large school with almost 1200 students (pk-5). We still have people asking if we have extra left over and we received it in November. Everybody loves cookie dough. Good Luck

WOW! May I ask what company you use? I have this on my list of possible spring fundraisers. Our school has just over 700 students.

Set up a PHONE TREE!! to remind parents to pick up their orders.

Even though it is a pain, photocopy every order before you turn them into the cookie company, that way you have all the phone #'s.

Divide the orders up among the PTO and have everyone CALL the list 2-3 days before pickup.

Another idea - have everyone PREPAY the order, money is also a great incentive.
