We have been advised by our Kathryn Beich rep that these "contracts" are not contracts at all. They are merely reservations for calendar space for the rep. What's the fundraising company going to do if you cancel the Spring sale? Sue you? I don't think so. Can you imagine the backlash from the different PTAs, PTOs, HSAs, etc. when word got around that a fundraising company sued a school group? I say cancel the the spring sale.

This year we are using this company called American Fundraising for our Gingerbread Shop. We are very unhappy with them. Their rep is making our job very difficult by not admitting that the company (and her) has messed up. Merchandise has not been delivered on time, and what did come in, there was not enough of. We were running out of stuff within hours of our first day! The cash register did not work correctly and gave our volunteers headaches! These are just a few of the things that went wrong. Has anyone else used this company before with success? We have another fundraiser with them in the spring, contract already signed (sigh).
