No, it is not rude to call after sending a request. You call as a follow up to make sure they have received your request and to see if they would be willing to donate an item or two. Sometimes it's the personal touch that gets you what you really want. And also the right person may have never received the request. When you call a store, you'll probably need to talk to the general manager. For a corporation, you can contact Human Resources or someone in Public Relations. Good luck!

Our auction in coming up in only 2 weeks. There are a couple places that we had really hoped to hear back from and haven't. One of which is Circuit City. I know they are so generous at donating and I would really hate to miss out on such a great donation. Sometimes I wonder if they ever received our donation request.

My question is....has anyone called businesses to see if they had received your request, and what the status of it is? I don't know if they would consider it rude to call? I could really use some advice about what to do with the places that we have not heard back from yet, especially Circuit City. Heck, I don't even know how to contact the department that handles that. What do you say when you call? Has anyone ever called and had them tell you that they had not gotten your request? ...I'm just full of questions tonight!

I could any advice you might have!
Thanks a million!
