Silly spin art question

Dear Jaxmama, We have a spin art table at our annual fun fair. We use a clothes drying rack and clothespins to hang the cards up to dry. We place the kids names on the back of the card first before they apply the paint. Good luck.

Jaxmama Ask your vendor if the paint they are supplying is instant dry? We have spin art machines and use this type of paint. It is an additive that is added to the paint. It is expensive but for the amount of paint that is actually used it's not to bad. This allows the spin art to be dry to touch in about 15 seconds. Hope this helps

We've never done Spin Art at ours. How big is what you are doing? Don't they have 5x7s and 8x10s? And have you asked how long it takes to dry?

Anyway, on other various "wet crafts" from glued popsicle creations to frosted cookies, we've provided sturdy styrofoam plates. The kids put their name on the plate, set the craft on the plate, and put it off to the side to dry. (So they can see who's is who's without picking it up.) We've also provided gallon size zip lock bags for some things that slip over the plate for transport. (Now whether the item SURVIVES transport is another issue, but at least the car doesn't end up with glue, paint, or frosting...)

We've decided to do spin art at our spring carnival - our fundraising vendor is providing a machine and supplies as one of our contract bonuses.

The company is going to give us instructions, as I've never even seen a spin art setup, but I was wondering how you all handle the art while it dries. Do you have kids initial the back side and then pick it up later? I'm thinking this could get pretty messy if we have a bunch of kids shoving wet spin art in their goodie bags.
