Hello! We do a BIG Back-To-School-Night Bake Sale, Wrapping Paper/Candy/Candles/Gifts, 2 Book Fairs, 2 partronize a certain restaurant, a "Home Parties Fair" vendors shopping night and we're considering a mysimon.com shopping mall night. For the 5th Grade Memory Book, we also support an area bakery at Thanksgiving time and other bake sales, too.

We did 3 Scrapbooking fundraisers this last year. They were fun, but not very profitable. I think we did like $280 or so for the entire year. Those supplies have so much overhead, that whoever you use to sell supplies can only give a small chunk of the proceeds to the school. Every dollar counts, and we appreciate whatever anyone takes on, but I had to wonder if all the time and effort put into it was worth it. If you are looking for family involvement activies, this would be a good one, but as far as fundraising goes, not very lucrative.
I am curious about what you do for Bingo? I want to have a bingo night this year, but have no idea how to get started or what I need to do. Any suggestions?

Thanks! Lori

hi guys, we do the usual, dance, bingo, giftwrap, chocolate. Next year we are going to do a chalk art festival (tried to do it this year, got rained out twice). Someone had mentioned a scrapbooking day as a fundraiser, I'd love to try that, any suggestions on it? maggie
