Question about bingo night

We have prizes for all the kids. Our secretary runs the bingo and gets all the prizes. She loves to shop and gets tons of bargains. You could do just a place like oriental trading though like the rubber bracelets. They are not expensive at all. We don't have a huge school so as the games go on, we hand out tickets when someone wins. Everyone gets one ticket to start. She gives tickets out all night for different things like if you have the one number she calls. At the end, the kids count their tickets and line up from gratest to least. The child with the most tickets gets to pick a prize first and then we go down the line. The kids love it and everyone gets to chose.

Oh if this is for children I would think you'd have to have a consolation prize. Don't want anyone crying. Our dice roll off was for an adult bingo and they usually can handle it a bit better....d

We have enough prizes for each child to win two (they're smallish prizes, no more than $5 value). After the first win, we put a dot on their hand. After the second win, we put a second dot. Two dots, no more prizes. We have volunteers in the crowd handing out prizes as each game finishes. It's ok if more than one kid wins at a time. Only kids get prizes. We've found that kids still continue playing even if they've already won 2 prizes because it's fun to play. Our last game is a "sit down" bingo where all the kids stand up and sit down as their card is filled. The game ends when there are about 10 kids left and those ten get a pizza lunch with the principal. Obviously, only kids who are students at our school (not younger siblings) can win the pizza lunch, but they can win the other prizes.

Once we verified the winning cards we would have a "roll off" with the dice with the highest single roll of one dice taking the pot. Works fine....d

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but I really need help with this. I am in charge of planning our Bingo night (Feb. 2006). I'm okay with just about everything, but I need help with figuring out what to do with multiple winners of a game. How do you handle that? Do you have a playoff and the winner of the playoff receives the large prize, and then you have smaller "consolation" prizes for those involved in the playoff that didn't win? HELP - I would love any help you all can offer. Fee free to email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Thanks so much - I have gained so much from these boards!
