You'll want to check the redgulations in your state. I believe we get our raffle license from the county clerk and it is good for 180 days.

I'm in charge of our 2007 Gift Auction (Tricky Tray) .... I'm actually *really* excited about this and can't wait to get "the ball rolling". When should I apply for permits/licenses for this event? I'm not aware if they expire after a certain time, so I don't want to go to apply too early, but I want to get it done and out of the way as soon as it is possible. I don't know if each state is different - but if it helps to answer my question, I'm in NJ, and the event is in May.
