I don't know all the details about why and how this happened but here is what I do know: a woman has wrote 2 bad checks, totaling over $1000, to Market Day. If she does not pay we will be responsible for half. Market Day turns over all bad checks to a collection agency but if they can't collect then the school becomes responsible for half.

We need advice on how to go about collecting this, since the check wasn't made out to the PTO it was made out to Market Day. Plus, Market Day has the check.

This is our first year participating in Market Day and now we might lose half of our total profit.
