In Indiana, you need to contact the Chairity Gaming Commission...can get the # in the yellow pages.

If your raffle will be under 1000.00 you just need a form on file....if it will be over you need the license. They'll send you a book with all the rules.

Yes, but it's a state or local thing, so what applies to me may not apply to you. Check this website to see what the laws are in Indiana:

THIS YEAR WE WERE GOING TO HAVE AN AFGHAN RAFFLE. ONE OF OUR PARENTS WANTED TO DONATE AN AFGHAN SHE MADE. SOMEONE ELSE INDICATED THAT WE NEEDED A GAMING LICENSE IN ORDER TO HAVE A RAFFLE. HAS ANYONE ENCOUNTERED THIS?
