Bounced Check Collection Services

I think this might be the same as www.schoolcheckrecovery.com? If so, we used them and they had great success with a number of checks that had bounced with our fall fundraiser last year. Our treasurer was thrilled with how easy it was to use.

I believe that they provided us with the language that we put on every brochure that goes out where we are collecting money. Here's what they all now say:
"Your personal checks are welcome with valid identification (check includes name and address of check writer). If your check is returned, NSF, it may be re-presented electronically, and you will be assessed a processing fee of $20-$30 or the maximum amount allowed by law. The check writer is also responsible for all other check recovery costs, including all attorney's fees, court costs and taxes."

We used ecashflow, and they didn't collect a single check for us. I have had better luck by sending a notice directly to the person who bounced the check. If the check isn't made good after the second notice, we turn it over the prosecutor.

Hi! Has anyone ever used the services offered thru eCashflow, a no cost electronic NSF collection service? Our group would like to start but I would like someone's real experience comments before we do. Thanks!

And if you have, what do you put on your fundraising paperwork notifying all buyers that this service will be used?
