We are doing a lot of the basic games for our festival. We were unable to get film donated for our phot booth so we are going to scrap it this year. That bums me out. Games/activites we have are Guessing Jars, Moon Jump (got 2 donated), tether balloon rides (we have a parent that owns 2 balloons), ping pong toss, darts, lollipop rings, Gypsy booth, tatoos, face painting, costume contest, pumpking carving contest (all pumpkins have been donated), musical hay bales, basket ball toss, sack races, and a make-it-take-it station. I got these great glasses to decorate Oriental Trading Co. We have glitter crayons, markers and stamps to decorate them. I think the kids will love them & they were a GREAT price.

Question: Do you have your festival indoors or out?

I've gotten donations of polaroid film from Office Depot. Polaroid film is harder because it is so expensive. Sav-on was also really good with donations.

We do a photo booth with polaroid. We tried digital and it was too much trouble. One picture is free, the 2nd is $1. We use about 200 shots for a school of 200. (everyone doesn't come but some do more than one picture). We also do a GREAT "witches hand" with candy. They use candy corn for the nails, tootsie rolls for fingers, M&M's/skittles/etc and then we fill the hand part with popcorn. It all goes in a glove and makes a hand. We do tatoos, pumpkin toss with hula hoops, cake walk, rattle the skeleton with bean bags, make bracelets with beads, foamie stickers with photo frames, Boxes with gross stuff in them that they feel and try to guess what it is. (wet noodles, peeled grapes, etc)

I need a couple of ideas for a school carnival. I am not sure all the games that we do... I am new. I want something that will spice things up. I read about a photo booth.. where is a good place to ask for donations?? About how much film do you go through for a school of 250 students. I need some other ideas also. I am sure we do all the usual ones.
