We call our dance room a laser room. We have ALL kinds of disco lights in there. The music we use is from the principal's collection she uses for Disco attendence parties, I know there Shrek, The Locomation, Who Let the Dogs Out? Space Jam, and we do try to update, but I am not a hip mom so I really don't know what else she uses.

OK - I'm a newbie and I'm in the process of planning our Fall Festival. What's a dance room? Sounds like a lot of fun!

Hi! Our Local Party Supply store has a rack at the front end that is filled with CD's like that. The have ones for all different themes depending on what type of party you are planning.

Other than that you can go to places like itunes and download songs for 99 cents each. I believe you can put up to 14 songs on a disc. So $14 would be only slightly higher then one you could buy from a party store, but it might be worth it as then you can pick and choose the songs as well as what order you put them on your disc.

I am looking for song titles that everyone knows that are kid friendly but the adults know them too. I would like to do a mixture of 50's thru now music for the dance room that I am doing for fall festival. What does your school play if you do one? Is there a tape or cd I can buy?
