OUR PTO USED A COMPANY IN MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE CALLED PARTIES WITH PIZZAZZ, THEY DO FUNDRAISERS AND COSTUME PARTIES & COSTUMED LESSON PLANS. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF INVENTORY WE RECEIVED. THE PARENTS WERE PLEASED WITH THE MERCHANDISE AS WELL. THEY HAD LISCENSED PRODUCTS, LOONEY TUNES, BARBIE, POKEMON AND LOTS MORE, NOTHING WAS OVER $10.00. WE HAVE ABOUT 700 STUDENTS IN OUR SCHOOL AND WE MADE ABOUT $1500.00 PROFIT. IT WAS THE BEST HOLIDAY SHOP I HAVE EVER SEEN. EVERYTHING WAS ON CONSIGNMENT, THEY SENT AN INVENTORY SHEET THAT WAS EASY FOR US TO INVENTORY. WHAT WE DIDN'T SELL WE SENT BACK. YOU CAN E-MAIL ME AND I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW YOU CAN GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM.

We have used several different companies in the past and found that the quality of merchandise was not there. We started doing our own shopping the last few years. We go to target, walmart etc. We charge what we paid, for example a $1.99 item is $2.00, we don't lose much money because whatever we don't sell we return. Also because schools are tax free it is easy math.Parents have been very happy with this method of our Santa's workshop. Goodluck!!!!!

Okay, the Holidays are over...Did anyone out there have a really GREAT Holiday Shoppe for the kids they'd like to tell me about? Did anyone have a NOT So Great one that they'd like to warn me about? I am not concerned on it being a money maker at all, but it needs to be quality products. I have looked at all the ones listed in the PTO Today Fundraiser marketplace and cannot tell by looking at website pictures. Our school ditched this program last year and I would like to see it come back this 2002 season. I guess I am looking for variety, new products, and quality. Any help, comments, or sugestions is appreciated. Thank You.
