Fall Festival-HELP

Our small K-12 school holds a Fall Festival every year in the same way. Every class is responsible for their own game or actvity and it usually lasts about an hour. Some of the more popular activities include a cake walk, basketball toss, pie throwing, washer toss, ball in the basket, balloon dart throw, etc.

One of the most popular is the kiss the pig contest. Teachers volunteer and kids raise money to see their "favorite" teacher kiss the pig.

Each class keeps the money raised to fund class projects and the PTO raises funds by having a stew/chili supper prior to the Festival, and a Bingo game following the Festival. We charge for each bingo card and obtain prizes from parent and business donations.

Hope this helps!

Hi
Our school also holds a Fall Festival in late October, some things that worked out really well were a Moon Bounce, we sold tickets for .50 each child had about 10 mins of jumping, we had several vendors donate small pumpkins and again for a $1 donation, each child was able to decorate their own pumpkin with different decorations that the PTO had purhcased earlier in the year( pompoms, feathers, glitter, buttons, etc). We had crafters who purchased a table to display and sell their own personal items, a penny candy table for the children, we decorated our gym with pumpkins, cornstalk, and made it look fall like. A few other things were a pie eating contest, cake decorating contest and a scarecrow contest. It was a huge success and everyuone had a great time. Food and beverages were also provided. Good Luck!!

This is my first year to co-chair fall festival. Our school has not had it in 5 years. We want it to be great! Each class will be responsible for a booth. If you can offer any ideas our suggestions, I'm ready. Our theme is maybe "Hoedown"?
