On the subject of book fairs.. does anyone know a company that does them besides Scholastic?

I love Scholastic right down to my toes, but we had some problems with our first book fair in the fall, and the board would like to look at other options. They are even considering buying books ourselves and building it from scratch. ICK!!!

We are into our book fair right now, which is doing awesome. This time all the proceeds go towards classroom sets of books. We are doing something different. Each teacher has made up a "Wish List" of books they would like from the book fair. They are posted on a poster board. While the parents are shopping for books for their kids, they can also purchase a book that their teacher is wanting. This is going very well. With the profits the "book fair ladies" will make sure that each teacher receives two of the books they have requested. With Valentine just around the corner, this is a great way to pick up a gift for your childs teacher. :cool: :cool:
