Vendor Shopping NIght

On the craft fair side - we did that one year where independent crafters could set up tables and sell their wares. There was a small fee for the table, but the bulk of our profits were going to come from concessions.

Unfortunately, the organizers didn't think to restrict the crafters from also selling food. So we had a few booths that brought coolers of cokes and boxes of snacks and promptly marked their prices to less than the concession stand. Note - their "craft" had nothing to do with food, it was handpainted, hand embroidered items.

Anyway, you just might want to make this clear if there are any restrictions on who can sell what.

wow did you read my mind. We are planning on doing one of these nights and are looking for ideas. we are going to call it the direct sales/craft fair. we do not think we can get enough people with just direct sales.

PTO TOday had an article awhile ago about a fundraising night where different direct sales company representative came into the school for a night of shopping and gave 10% of the sales to the PTO. Does anyone have a sample letter to send out to the different consultants?
