I sell stuff on EBay from time to time and also looked for a lot of great bargains around Christmas time. What do you think about contacting people whose items aren't about to sell to see if they will donate it to your organization for use in a silent auction/door prize, etc. You can send them a tax deductible letter (if you're 501c3) and, even though they didn't sell it, they can actually write it off on their taxes! STRANGE??? Let me know what ya'll think.
