building our own Plinko

Here's one I found. The plans are free. They say it's challenging and takes 16 hours to make but you end up with a 5 foot tall game. It looks like you need someone skilled to do this. But it looks very nice. I've seen small freestanding ones going for $300.00.

I have seen them made with nails in a board, so you may be able to modify (and simplify) that pattern. I'd like to know what you end up doing.

Seems like someone has mentioned that on this board before.

I would love to know how one is done also. One thing you could do is take your design to a high school or middle school "woodworking shop" (I am sure they have fancier names nowadays)and the insructor and the kids could probably help you with your dimensions. The students may learn something too.

Has anyone ever done this? Is it easy? I got a design off of the web, but they make it really difficult and tall. There has got to be an easier way to do it. I thought all it would take would be a piece of plywood, nails and dividers at the bottom. But ask my husband, I tend to think a lot of things are going to be easy and they end up being monsterous projects!
