For our Winter Wonderland, in the past we wrapped boxes with construction paper and made them look like presents. We cut a slit in the top of the box and taped the corresponding number on top of the box. The only problem with this is they are bulky and hard to store for the next year. This year I purchased plastic cookie tubs from Wal-Mart. They were $1 each however they stack well and can be used year after year. They come with a lid so I cut a small slit in the lid and taped the corresponding number to the top of the lid. They are light blue with snowflakes so they are already decorated for our Winter Wonderland. The ease of this is worth $30 and several people commented about how the buckets went along with the theme.
We used the large Deli Containers too and they worked awesome. We had to pay for ours, but I only paid something like $30 for 500 of them and we can use them over and over and over again.
This year we finally got smart.
We got a whole bunch of large, clear plastic deli containers donated. I think one of the volunteers had a connection. We numbered them all and covered the number with large clear tape. The lids had holes cut out in the shape of a star so now we use them for years to come and it's one less thing to think about.
Lowes Home Improvement sells the coolest empty one gallon paint cans. They're a bit more pricy than lunch sacks but they're reusable.
My friend and I use them as 'gift bags' by wrapping the can in themed scrapbooking paper and tying colorful, matching ribbons to the handles. Any paper would work though.
A parent who's handy with tools could cut and smooth slots in the lids (wouldn't want anyone to hurt themselves. If you're worried about them being unstable, you could put a rock or bag of sand or something like that in the bottom.

I need idea’s on how I can make our 30+ Raffle Ticket bags better. Right now I am using a lunch bag opened and stapled at the top. I use a piece of Duc Tape and cut a hole for the tickets to be inserted. On the side of the bag is a label telling what the item is, who donated it, value, and raffle time. We tape the bottom to the table.
