I posted it before and i will post it one last time: the Wellness POLICY it is not, it is the Wellness POLITICS.

And any honest administrator will admit to the same. It is a policy that is a carrot without a big stick. Witness the lack of checks and balances, and how will implementation and lack thereof, be monitored, policed, documented etc. There ARE no concrete provisions for such.

And, on another note, I dont know how long ago he said it but here it is:

If man made it, don’t eat it. – Jack LaLane

Also, Cherri-
Our district has gone as far as saying... "on school grounds" Therefore, the function/organization/time of day doesn't matter. I pay my taxes and feel I should have been informed that a policy was being formed. I would have tried to get more involved. I have done ALL of my research and read a lot about the 3 levels of this wellness policy and all of it's POLITICS.

The bottom line, PTOs have gone overboard in raising money and pressure from the Gov't is restricting it to slow it down. CT leads the way with Bluminthal trying to stop it. AS for the lawyer, ticking off the administration by selling fatty foods is not wise. You may win that battle, but you will get resistance on everything else you try to do. Pick your battles.

I'm definately confused but you ...will never see the other side because you dont want to ... I've agreed with some of your points but all you do is post eat @#$& and die responses...

(I do cut and paste well but evidently you can read it and just beleive what you want, regardless, goodbye)

Do you have any evidence to back you up... NO thought so... other than eat more and die.. who's the baby??

Aflatoxins
Aflatoxins are naturally occurring toxins belonging to the class of Mycotoxins. These are toxic to mammals, produced by fungi and are the products of secondary metabolism.
Aflatoxins occur in many foods and feeds, including peanuts, corn, wheat and milk.
Using HPLC, we analyse to all necessary detection limits to B1, B2, G1, G2, M1 and M2 metabolites of aflatoxins.

Dioxins and PCBs

Dioxins are highly toxic compounds both found naturally in the environment and man-made. The term dioxins generally refers to a family of related chemical compounds that include the chlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and chlorinated dibenzofurans. Collectively, these groups of compounds belong to a class of compounds called polychlorinated diaromatic hydrocarbons (PCDH). Birth defects, immunotoxicity, tumor production, and changes in metabolism have all been observed as a result of exposure to PCDH, which has led to restrictions on the levels of the toxins in the food.

Pleae dont come here spouting crap about others because they like to eat or feed their children candy, sugar and sweets--- moderation of all the includiing sodium nitrate. My wife is a psycologist and if your minfd is not healthy you cnnnot be /eat helthy (I was trying to make a funny) but slamming people because you 'beleive' in your toxins BS is innapropriate (Yes soe chemicals, dies, MSG are bad and some shouldnt be used) but all in moderation arent goin to kill you -- which is why you sodium intake was stupid -- increasing it would not be moderation -- if this getsm e banned so be it but unregistered idiots spouting off piss me off

You cut and paste very well. A+ for that. But as for original thought and ownership of knowledge, well....

Aflatoxins grow to deadly proportions when grains, peanuts, etc. are improperly stored or pass their expiration date.

Sodium Nitrate (blood coagulant and most powerful carcinogenic on the Planet is not the same as Sodium Chloride (table salt), which again manifests your CONFUSEDciousness.

Dioxins and PCBs are found in your favorite conventionally produced dairy products. I urge you to eat lots of hot dogs and wash them down with milk or beer. (No doubt you will choose the latter.)

I hope your post is allowed to remain as a testiment to your CONFUSEDciousness.

And by the way, it's easier to have a healthy mind if you have a healthy body. But you can't be expected to know that, toxic Shawn.
