One price wristbands for carnival

You might try searching the boards, but I remember someone talking about selling punch cards instead of bracelets or tickets as an easier way to keep track of things. In our school, most parents don't spend more than $5 per student and the parents that do spend more than $20 most times and between the two broad ends of the spectrum, it's hard to come up with something that would work.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

I'm not sure how they work, that's why I asked At our last school we had a one price band and you also got a drink, hot dog and treat with it. They used tiny hole punches for those, that way you could tell they had a drink already, or whatever.

As for the big price-last year we sold tickets for 50 cents each, with price breaks when you bought a bunch. The majority of our tickets were sold at 50 tickets for $20.00 that's 10 free tickets. So for us I think parents would pay for a wristband. But I am getting a lot of resistance, as other PTO members are afraid we will lose revenue.

Anyone have experience with this????? :D

Tell me more about the one price wristbands. How much is a band? And how many activities does it get? I can see it eliminate the need to go back to the ticket taker all the time. But do the parents like to pay a big price for the time at the carnival? We have a Spring Festival and are brainstorming now.

We used wristbands for an event we had and found that they were the cheapest from Oriental Trading.
They sell them along with all kinds of carnival stuff.

We had our first carnival last year, and it was great! We had a wonderful turnout, and plan to expand it this year. I would like to suggest a one price wristband this year, as a parent it would be much easier for me, and I think there are others who would appreciate it also.

Anyone have good or bad experience with these? Do you include a soda or other food with them? Where did you get them, and what was the cost? Thanks for any help!
