Value of a Tricky Tray Prize

19 years 5 months ago #86692 by Michelle B
Okay, I'm the soap fan! I've been watching All My Children since 4th grade (sometimes we'd be 'sick' on the really good story line days!) Now I tape them. GH after high school.
I'd say they're worth a higher price. Depending on what day it's from - storylines etc (Luke & Laura v the Cassadines = good storyline for example.) maybe even higher...
By the way, I HAVE to ask, which actor??? you can e-mail me and tell me if you want! :D

Our President actually knows one of the actors from one soap and the daughter of a costume designer of the other one. So she just asked them for them and they got them for her right away. So I suspect that maybe if you write them you might be able to score a signed script. Maybe you can do a google search and come up with an address? It seems they tend to be a pretty generous lot. The one show is even letting us bring our Girl Scouts there for a tour.

I did get an email from a poster here "Thanks Bertha"! She said they have had signed scripts before and they put them in the large prize category ($100 - $125) and put them in a basket with all kinds of couch potato treats. She said the cups on those were filled to the max.

They are an odd thing though as they are really only valuable to someone who is a fan. If I won one I would sell it on Ebay!

I'm with you! We received an autographed photo of Bob Barker along with the script from the first show of their 35th season (I think that's the right # of years) that is also autographed. I have no idea how much this is worth if much at all??

Where did you write to to get the autographed scripts of those soaps?

This drives me crazy,
Holly

Hi!

For our upcoming Tricky Tray we were able to get 2 scripts from 2 different soap operas (All My Children & General Hospital) signed by all the cast members. I am not sure what the value of something like this is? Would you put them in the grand prize category of being worth more then $125? I am not a soap fan, but I suspect these things are priceless to a die hard fan. Thanks!
