We did the Sandy Candy last year and the kids really liked it. But, I think it was a bit expensive for our budget. I don't think we'll do it again though. A lot of it got spilled on the tables. We even had tubs underneath to catch the pouring spills, but a mom raised a fuss that we were spreading germs by trying to reuse what spilled out. She said the kids fingers are dirty and it's hitting their dirty fingers then falling the tubs. Oh well, we tried anyway. There always seems to be someone to ruin the day!!

Love the Smencils! We received a bubble gum scented one last year as a sample, and it smelled wonderful. Plus, I like the idea of them being environmentally friendly.

Our 5th grade teacher was thinking about selling them as a camp fundrasier, but was afraid that the other teachers wouldn't go for it because they might be a distraction to the kids. Did you have to get around this issue, and if so, what argument did you use? I think these would be a HUGE hit with our students.
