I work in an office, but all we have is a black and white copier. Would that be ok? Thank you for all your advice. It's obvious you've been doing this stuff for awhile and your advice in invaluable!

I did one for our basketball banquet. I used Microsoft Publisher and it was pretty simple. We charged $20 for full page, $10 half page and $5 quarter page, $1 booster line. We did really well just selling space to the families who wanted to recognize their children for the season (although we did have some businesses). I'm actually lucky enough to work in an office and did all of the copying, etc. myself so there was no extra costs involved. We have a very small school but we made enough to cover the majority of the catering costs of the banquet.

Right now we're doing one for our calendar party which is a major fundraiser. We're charging $30 whole page, $20 half page, $10 quarter page. That's the one where we'll get a lot of local business participation.

One of my bright ideas....I have an idea to create an ad book for our annual Christmas Play. I am looking for ideas or anyone who has done anything similar. what I am thinking of is an ad book like dance schools do. You can buy a half apage or a full page, either a business, or a parent can pay and put their child's picture in with a message to them. also do a page of boosters. I would want the books to be free at the play, and I would need about 400. What would I charge per page? Is there a way to get these things printed for a minimal cost? I would like to raise money using this idea. Thanks for any help...
