I just saw your reply. Based on other posts I've made??? I haven't made other posts, or at least none regarding fundraising. I am on the PTO Board of a middle school with over 1000 students. We made a whopping $1900 on our catalog fundraiser with Lavenders. It was a complete bust. So no, I would not use them again. And I resent being called a liar.
Have to disagree with you...reading other posts you've made does make me wonder about your ulterior motivation.
Anyhow, we've used Lavender's for years with outstanding results. While there may be a minimum clause as you indicated, it is FAR lower than you stated - more like $5,000...which we've never had an issue reaching and we are not a very large group (250 students).
Yes, and we did not have good results. If you go with them be very careful to check the fine print on your contract. We had discussed percentages that we would make on each of their catalogs and it was listed in large print on the contract. What they never pointed out to us was the small print that took a certain percentage away for every $1K we grossed under $20K. If you do the math on that formula you can actually go negative on your profit! Thanks to poor sales we ended up making barely anything on the fundraiser. We will not use them again.
