When I first heard the idea of a school pledge drive, I was sure it would never ever work. Now that I'm thinking about it, I am curious to see if anyone has one.
This is my idea:
Several companies will do money matching for a single fundraiser. If we were to tell parents that each dollar they pledge is going to be matched by a local vender, do you think it would go over?
Some families simply plan on a certain amount of money for school fundraisers no matter what they are. For other people the idea of having fewer fundraisers would be great. Our school has something being sold constantly.
A neighboring school doesn't have any fundraisers, they do something like this. But they don't have the same kind of activities or any assemblies.
