EPI Fundraising

I can give you a quick recent story on EPI. EPI is the sponsor of our annual Parent Group of the Year search (and they have been for several years now).

So last week, as we were putting the finishig touches on the PGOTY issue, I read a great story about one of our honoree groups. Turns out this Pennsylvannia group had done amazing work in partnering with a school that was devastated by Katrina.

This honored group -- like many of our honorees -- is getting a nice check from PTO Today and a big chunk of school supplies and shirts and the like from EPI. Good stuff.

But after reading the article, I got to thinking: "How can we give this Pennsylvannia school this prize and not help the Katrina school, too?" We decided to match the PTO Today prize for the Katrina school. And then we called EPI -- took them about 4 seconds to enthusiastically agree to match their piece, as well.

Saw your question and thought it was worth sharing this bit of a testimonial about EPI.

we've used them for years. Reliable reps. and profits are great especially if you order early. They take back unsold product. If you ask for specific brands (ie. Crayola paints scissors or Kleenex tissue)- you got it!
It's our biggest fundraiser.
