We have a big Halloween Carnival each year. A couple of years ago the coordinator started a new feature called "the pickle jar". Slips of paper are put into two big jars and each slip has a chance to win a prize. Most are consolation prizes, but some are big things that we get donated. The jars are stuffed full of paper.
Our problem is that no one knows what the "pickle Jar" game is and we don't get a whole lot of participation. Do any of you do a similar game and what do you call it? We'd like to get a better response and thought if we changed the name to something more descriptive it might help.
