If teachers dont already have the training, pay for first aid / cpr training for entire staff. might be the best gift ever, that you hope they never need to use.
You can use the money to pay for programs for the kids in your school auditorium (if you have one). You could have an ice cream event to reward the children for something. You could buy all of your students t-shirts or backpacks. You could use the money and have a Field Day at the end of the school year. Having Carnival Day would also be fun for the kids. Special field trips are always a big hit. If you have a school library, then you could purchase new books to stock the shelves. There are so many ways to spend the money!!!!!!!! This year our PTO held a fundraiser without having any set thing we were raising money for. We earned a large amount. The past years the fundraiser money has been spent on what the Teacher's want or need. This year we want to spend the majority of it on something for the students. Besides playground equipment, are there any ideas for what we can purchase for our students?
