Holly,

You can also take a look at payQuake payQuake Information . They put together a special offer for parent groups. They waive the cancellation fee so you can test it out and see if you like it.

We do accept credit cards for any charge over $20. Our parents can charge their yearly pledge, t-shirt orders, etc. except for fundraisers like gift wrap and cookie dough. We have found a lot of people like using their credit cards and believe the added expense has boosted sales. We are a big PTO, though.

We use the credit card services of our bank (Wells Fargo). Although there are companies that are cheaper, we feel comfortable using the same bank that handles our accounts in case of a problem.

We bought our credit card terminal on Ebay (new) rather than through Wells Fargo. Just make sure you get exact specifications.

I would love to accept credit cards but the PTA's bank is a S&L not Commercial, so they do not process credit cards. Talk to the bank where the PTA has an account..they might be able to do it.

How many of you accept credit cards (especially for auctions and such)? Who do you use for your credit card processing?

Thanks bunches,
Holly
