We have used Original Works of Art for 3 years now - a great success every time. Excellent quality - no hassles.

These would make great gifts for mother's day~ Good luck.

I have used two different companies for children's artwork.

One is Square 1 Art and they do provide a free small magnet with the order form. The two schools we attended in Georgia used this company. The paper provided is 8 or 8 1/2 square.

This year I worked with Art to Remember because most of the schools in my area use them. They do not however provide a "free" magnet. The order forms come with a magnet (larger than Square 1 Art), which must be returned if they do not purchase it. We did get the majority of the magnets back.

Both of these programs were great and I found the company representatives were very easy to work with.

Check with other schools in your district to see which company they use.

We used Original Works last year - it was a great success. Like you we didn't want to deal with the purchase of the magnet. What we did was send home the actual artwork in a package that contained an overview of how things worked. There were sample brochures so parents could see how things worked - plus the artwork to see. The parents had to complete the form - include payment and sent back the artwork all in one package (plastic folder which was provided).

No issues - very easy. We had a high particpation rate and it was voted as the most popular fundraiser of the year. I don't think you need the magnet to increase participation.

Looking for some feedback on those companies that provide fundraisers based on kids' art. The art dept at my daughter's middle/high school wants to do one of these so that products are available for Mother's Day gifts. I remember doing one of these a few years ago, but the way it worked was that a magnet was made of your kid's artwork, and you had to either purchase the magnet, or return it. No way we want to deal with that hassle at this age level. One of the art teachers seems to think that there is a company out there who will provide a magnet as a freebie. (I'm guessing that if there is, they decrease the %age of profit you get on other products....)

The companies which I could quickly find that do something like this are: Square 1, Silver Graphics, Original Works, Create A Memory, Kids Showcase Art and It's My Artwork.

Does anyone have any positive/negative feedback about any of these companies? Anyone know if there's a "free magnet" company out there? Other companies we should consider (must offer more products than just notecards)? Thanks.
