Our school has used for several years and this is the last one for now. We've had a couple different reps now and it's been going downhill.

A) Did the representative come through "on paper" with the promises he/she made?
-- We unfortunately didn't sign actual percentage/sale profit ratio for us. So we don't know what we've earned until they tell us.

1. Cook a 'sample' lunch/dinner for school staff and/or PTO meeting. --Brought samples to PTO meeting a couple of years ago.
2. Cook a 'sample' lunch/dinner for everyone at a family fun night. --Baked and sent 5 dozen cookies for our Open House (596 students in school and very represented at Open House)
3. Accumulative prize program, as well as teacher incentives, parent incentives, PTO group incentives, top seller incentives, top classroom sales incentives, etc. --No. The prize is single prize by number sold. Please note that the student must sell at least 10 items to get the first prize. Inflatables for carnival incentive to sign multi-year contract.

B) Did the representative follow through on all aspects of the written contract? -- Carnival supplier was poor. Didn't get what advertized and that help was rude to our school people at the event.

C) How long did it take to be reimbursed for incentives (pizza parties, ice cream parties, gift cards, etc.)? N/A

Overall, I have been told that the first year or two they were great for our school and the rep really wanted our business. But I see we only get around 35% on food and we've added the "paper product" catalog this year. That is only a 20% for us, which seems pretty low. Everyone else seems to be at the 50% on those. Plus other companies have the additional incentives and better cumulative prize packages. There's also the issue of two different forms for the catalogs. Glad I'm not the one having to total and verify! But I'm figuring I'll get a call of help tonight. (Order forms were turned in today.)

Overall, I'd rate our experience with Club Choice as a :( C/C-. I have been involved with other companies at other schools and on the committee to look at what's out there now. So I've been looking the past 8 months!

 I know that our PTO should have done a better job of negotiating with reps. and had profit spelled out. The food products are okay. Paper product catalog seems pricey - esp. when you look at what we earn.

Good luck to you in the search. I've been going thru it with 2 elementaries this past year.
