You're very welcome. One comment: we delivered these letters in person to the businesses. We find we get a much bigger and better response by either going in person or making phone contact with the owner/manager.

Dear Community Business,
On day, month date our school will be holding its annual spring carnival. It is a wonderful family-oriented evening of games and food. Our ### students and their families will fill our school for this event.
Money raised will be used to support our Education Enrichment Fund. This fund provides teachers with money to purchase special learning materials, games, and supplies that will improve the quality of education our children receive. Our teachers have been able to add to their classroom libraries and advance our children in the areas of science and math with wonderful interactive games. Last year each of our 40 teachers was allotted $225 to utilize in their classrooms! We are very proud of the fact that our families can come together to improve our children’s education while also providing a safe, inexpensive, and totally family-oriented event.
This year we are offering a kid’s drawing for the children. They will have the opportunity to put their name in a box for a chance to take home a nice prize. If you could help us with a product or monetary donation we would greatly appreciate it. Your company’s name would be included on the prize as it is displayed in our school before the event and on the posters that will be at the sign-up table the evening of the carnival. You will also receive a wonderful thank you letter that you can post in your business to let the community know that you support education and family-oriented events. Many local businesses have already made donations of wonderful prizes ranging from food items to tickets to Adventureland! We hope that you will be able to join that group.

I have searched many times. I am having no luck. I am doing donation letters for our school carnival. I am having terrible luck "revamping" the letters I have found during searches to adapt to the carnival letter. Most of what I have found is auction or baskets. Please send me ideas. I really need some. This is my first time using letters.
