We do a chili supper with ours. Also, our 2nd graders provide a short choral program, which helps to get the parents there. Who doesn't want to hear their children sing? ;)

I know it's a long standing tradition for many schools to pair Silent Auctions with Fun Fairs, but for many reasons, we're considering a divorce! What other successful activities have you planned with Silent Auctions to keep the kids busy while parents take turns checking out the goods? (We want to keep the Silent Auction in the spring. We are not ready for a "parents only" event with the Silent Auction.)
