Are you asking about business donations for parent donations?
Personally, I have found a better response sending letters to businesses in early January rather than waiting until mid-February or so as we did last year. I think it's because businesses are starting a year off fresh have have the donation $$$ to give.
We will wait until the end of February/early March to ask parents for donations.
Hi library mom this is the first year in three years that we aren't starting a fundraiser this time of year, although it was easter candy and we did good with there were other factors that we took into view this year. Being in upstate New York the heating and gas bills are getting higher and higher, with that in mind and people still getting christmas bills we decided to wait and do pizza kits in mid march.Thinking that we would not do very good with a sale so into winter...it is six of one and half dozen of another.

to start Spring Fundraising? Ours started this week and I feel that it is too soon after the holidays. I would have felt much better if it had started mid Feb. to let people get their tax refunds in hand. What do you think?
