Looking for new ideas and improvements to the program described below. This year I want to have a similar program but want it to be fresh. Last year it was the most rewarding program we did all year.

The program is called "Chores for our School". We sent letters home addressed to the kids challenging them to earn at least $1 each by performing chores. We gave them ideas for chores and asked them to only approach parents and grandparents. Each day about 6 kids from 2 or 3 classes would be allowed to announce their chores on the televised morning announcement (this made it sooo popular). We posted our progress in the cafeteria (thermometer). We provided cool looking paper awards where each kid could fill in what they did, how much they earned, how they felt. These awards were posted around classroom doors and later collect and posted en mass (the wall of children). We earned $750 (624 students)... but best of all we involved the kids in their community and had the little darlings working around the house.

Would love to hear some ideas on how to make this fresh for this year.
