Our school hosts two golf tournaments a year and they are both lots of fun. The entrance fee is where you'll make the money. It should cover the golf course, a tshirt, lunch and drinks (gatorade or water). We solicit prizes and have a raffle per hole. Bystanders also pay a fee and are included in food and the raffle. You can have each company sponsor a hole. You can have a huge "hole in one on a certain hole" prize. Our tournaments are usually students and parents against other schools and then we play a scramble and mix the teams. We have prizes for best golfer (male jr, female jr, male adult, female adult). I am coordinating our second golf tournament. Has anyone else coordinated a tourney as a school fundraiser? I would love to hear from anyone who is a golfer and has suggestions or others who have organized a tournament.
