Thank you, Marie! All this time I never realized that KashforKids matched competitor prices. I'm always comparing what other recyclers pay, yet I somehow missed this. Thanks for the info.
We use Kash for Kids and they are very nice. I have found that InkBank pays more for some cartridges, so when I send things to Kash for Kids, I just include InkBank's list from their website with the cartridges they pay more for marked, and Kash for Kids matches the higher amount.
We are a very little school, but we make a few hundred dollars a year, and it really isn't much work.
We've been recycling cartridges for about 2 years,and make about $1,000 a year. We use KashforKids, too - never any problem, and I believe they do pay the most. We also use Funding Factory for cell phone recycling; we've made about $250 in 9 months. No problems with them either, and they provide the boxes, too.
We've just started doing this program and received our first check last week (2 weeks after we sent in the laser cartridges). We use Kash for Kids and they pay all the postage. I e-mail them when I have a box to ship (with dimensions, weight) and they ship me a Fex Ex label.
From previous posts, I've seen it written that Kash for Kids will match others prices, so keep that in mind also.
Don't deal with all the shipping and packing. Go straight to a local company. This is such easy money it isn't even funny. Some workplace drums are worth $20
