Thanks! If you want books there seems to be a lot of money out there for things like that and reading programs. I know Target is a strong supporter of reading/books--we found that out when we went to apply for a grant from them and found the playground didn't fit under any of their programs. I'll go check my files and post some other companies that have grants for books/reading.

Outstanding!!! We are trying to get grants to fund our "New Library Books" drive. Library was moved due to space issues and inventory was very old. Ancient, is a better word. We are left with less than 3000 books, so we are looking for funding sources to help us get new books.

Don't let the information required by grant makers deter you--you CAN figure it out, and it's well worth the trouble. We just received a $37,500 grant from our county towards are handicapped accessible playground!
