While many of you are preparing for your holiday events at school, my group is gearing up for our book fair. This year,the pres decided to have two of them, the one we usually have in the spring and add another one in December. The problem is that we just had our big fall festival a couple of weeks ago and pretty much worked to death anyone who ever thought about volunteering for us. Last week she sent out fliers asking for MORE volunteers for this book fair--and so far has gotten no response. Still plenty of time, but I'm concerned about this. So my question is actually two parts: when have you guys found to be the best time of year for a book fair? And how do you handle asking for volunteers for events held a month apart?
