This is to JHB who responded to my posting about selling hams in schools-
1. where was that sale taking place? what state/city?
2. what was the name of the high school that did the sale? I would love to contact them to find out more!

Thanks, and hope to hear back from you!

Not really much input - but one of the groups at the high schools does one each year with hams, turkeys, bacon. Maybe some other meat. It must be popular as they do it over and over again.

I only know because I worked with a mom who brought the signup sheet to work each year. Like a good sport I'd consider ordering, then look at the prices (very high!) and decide to skip that one.

But I don't remember any specifics.

Have you ever heard of people doing fundraisers for high priced goods, like hams or other meat products (besides Market Day)? Any ideas about the success of such school fundraisers, or how much they charged/how much the group got? What were the groups involved?

Thanks!
