I was a PTO board member for several years while my 5 kids went through school. My youngest is a junior this year.
Last summer I became president of CalorieKing Wellness Solutions. CalorieKing produces the colorful best selling book: “The Doctor’s Pocket Calorie, Fat and Carb Counter†About the time that I became president, California schools were pretty much being told to stop selling food as fundraisers. So this year we introduced two fundraiser programs. An Internet-based year round fundraiser offering our Nutrition & Exercise Manager software on a “try it before you buy it†basis, and a traditional fundraiser, offering the book.
