I'm afraid I'd vote for pizza also. If your concern is nutrition, then add salad and some fruit. And you could consider offerng a sports drink in addition or instead of soft drinks to soft drinks.

Well, I have to say that Pizza is cheap and easy. We do Pizza Bingo which sounds like along the same lines, just not as fancy - maybe. Besides, everyone likes pizza :D If you really don't want to do pizza, you could always do a spaghetti dinner, or maybe a barbecue if you have the facilities for it. Hotdogs are inexpensive, maybe you could do a carnival type atmosphere, with hotdogs, popcorn, etc.

Even as I write this, I think, Pizza IS easier....but whatever you decide, GOOD LUCK!

I am the VP of my kids PTA. I am in charge of the major SPring FUndraiser which is a BINGO night and dinner. I am in a quandry over dinner. Last year we did a taco dinner, with beans and rice and lost our butts. The food was so expensive to make and we didnt get a profit from it. I am looking at alternatives this year. A lot of people are wantig to do Pizza, I dont think of that as a good dinner. Give me options? What would you want at your kids school, what would your kids eat? Think easy and inexpensive please!! We have already done spaghetti, hotdogs, nachos and chili this year. We considered pancake supper but we will have more than 250 people and it is sooo time consuming to cook pancakes.
