I received a package from the wrestling federations today. was very excited as it contained 4 t-shirts, 8 autographed pictures(not stamped), 2 magazines, a dvd, a vhs tape, bracelets,keychains and tattoos. I thought that was cool. Getting kinda depressed waiting on answers to all the letters that i sent out. It seems to take forever to get a reply. I'll keep praying.
We solicit donations locally and nationally. Our local grocery stores usually give $25 gift cards BUT $150....how nice!!!

all just asking for our tax id number but indicating that they were going to be sending stuff. Waiting patiently (well not so patiently), but waiting.
We also received a letter back from Holland America (the cruise line), that they will allow us to purchase a certificate that the winner then turns into a cruise of their choice (from 4 iteneraries) for 7 days! Very inexpensive up front cost that I'm sure if advertised properly would bring great profits to the event. Has anyone else taken advantage of this option? Would love to hear how it worked.
Wow! We usually on get sodas or cakes from Grocery chains (the few that give). That would be a tremdous help to a family to get a $150 for a few dollars. You could even pitch it that if they give a lower amount that the winner would more than likely spend more than what they give. I am going to give that a try.
