Our school is in the process of replacing the
traditional "Halloween Parade/Party" with a week long Fall Festival. We are planning a hay ride, recess activities such as face painting, sand art, pumpkin relay races, and instead of a Halloween Party have a Fall Party to celebrate the season of harvest. Each class will make apple or pumpkin treats to share with other classes. We are going to have math and literary activities relating to the fall. Does anyone have any ideas? Are other schools not doing Halloween Celebration? If so what do you do instead?
