I think the consistency is important so that people get to know that "the third Thursday of the month is Pizza Hut night". They can plan for it and don't have to keep up with what place to go to every month. Easier to promote too.
Why not go with a couple of places and do them each month. We are doing Wendy's nights each month and then we are throwing a night here and there at some other types of restaurants like a pizza place and a mexican place. It's working great so far and couldn't be much easier.
Personally, I would schedule as many different ones as possible. Some people will participate in Pizza Hut night but not McDonald's and so forth. Scheduling different ones allows as many people as possible to participate. Then when you find out which are the most popular, you can schedule more of those.
I am in the process of putting together the proposal for next years event calendar. Our school is only 1 year old so we have not tried many things. This board has proven to be a great source of information.
I am considering adding a monthly resturant night ( where the resturant donates part of the proceeds form the sales). We have a larege number of locations that I think would participate. Would it be better to use the same restaurant each month or change the restaurant each time?
