You could do face paintings. There could be different plane designs to choose from. Perhaps you could do a raffelof a basket filled with plane toys and books also (if that is allowed)or just a give away of such basket could probably draw in a few extra people.
Oriental Trading Co. has a huge variety of planes and gliders you could resell, as well as hats and visors, foam rockets, paratroopers, warblers and plastic flying dragonflies.
Personalized pencils mentioning the event or saying something about flight are fun. Many places do that - including OTC.
CarrieM got's a good idea. Maybe you could do a cutout of a Snoopy Red Baron plane where people just put their heads in and it looks like they are flying the plane and you take pictures. Make sure you add a scarf and maybe a old flight helmut.
This year, our PTA has the opportunity to set up a booth at our local airport air show. This event gets a LOT of people to come to it, and we are looking for ideas on how to 1). Make Money! 2). Market our school (parochial). We have been told that we cannot sell any food items, which is a shame because that's the obvious. Anyway, any ideas would be appreciated. Aeronautical(sp?) in nature would be cool.... thanks.
