Welcome to the site. You can count on lots of opinions. I have never heard of Great American but maybe the only sell in certain locations. In the past we have used JT Ent. (which had lots of late, missing and damaged items but offered lots of freebies), Cherrydale (which is very organized and offers freebies, but their brochure didn't do well in our school), and Kathryn Beich (which we have the best Rep, service, and organization). Right now we are doing Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough through KB. They worked with us to do a cash prize program and brought cookies for every student and teacher at the kickoff.
Fundraiser planning can be overwhelming and picking the right company and product can be very hit and miss. This is my 5th year doing fundraisers and it is different everytime we do one. Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply! We are looking at doing a brochure fundraiser for this spring. We have talked with several companies and Great American Opportunties by far had the best products. Do you know anything about this company? If we do not do a product brouchure, we are leaning towards cookie dough. Any thoughts are suggestions? Thanks! Donny

Well there are various fundraising companies for all kinds of different fundraisers. Can you be more specific as to what type of fundraising you are looking at doing? You can also toss out the names of companies you are looking at for feedback from the posters here who use them or have used them. Going into the fundraising yellow pages on this site can also be a good source at locating various compnaies. So let us know what you are looking at and looking for.

I am a first year PTO President and I was unaware that there are so many fundraising companies. How do I know who is legit and who is not? One company that I have been talking to stands way out over the other companies, but I want to make sure before I commit. Who do you guys use? Any info is greatly appreciated.
