Sally Foster prizes

We did well with Sally Foster last year and selling again this year. The prizes appeal to the kids up front, but upon receipt are less impressive than anything you find in a dollar store. We tried to by-pass the incentive program and up the profits, but rep wouldn't go for that. Instead, we offered additional incentives. We gave a t-shirt to every child who sold 10 items or more. Average cost of an item with Sally is $10, sell 10 items, bring in estimated profit of $55. Give a $5 shirt, we have profit of $50 still on those ten items. We also offered tiered incentives for individuals and grades with extra recess, lunch with principal, no homework day, no uniform day; and then sales level incentives for entire school with three goal levels -- one offering no homework for entire school, one for ice cream in cafeteria for entire school (purchased from cafeteria), and reach the highest and the principal would sing from the roof of the school. (We achieved that goal & the kids LOVED it!)I always tell our Board -- ya' gotta spend a little to get a lot! School with just under 500 kids, sold $25,000 for a profit of $13,750; purchased 125 shirts @ $5 each (cost $625), leaving our profit over $13,000. Not bad for a school that hates brochure sales.

Fair warning, some are not the greatest but I do have two boys that are so hard on toys!

The big prizes are great! Also our rep makes sure to have thank you items for the volunteers! I have recieved a nice asstment of wrapping paper and curling ribbon for 20+ hours of help.

They are doing a cumulative program this year, a wristband pen for any order, LED whistle key chain and the pen with 5 - 9 items, Glow in the dark wobble ball, plus the first two items for 10 - 17 and so on. Do you want to know all the prizes? You should talk to your rep about prizes for top sellers and also points from their partner program to be used on equipment, books, etc.

Hi all, I was curious to know what kind of prize programs Sally Foster has. We are changing in the Fall to Sally Foster from Cherrydale Farms, and I was curious if any of you have prize programs in place using the SF catalog. Please let me know
