I am not sure if this is true for others, but our school is discovering that the corporations are becoming really tight with their donations. We have bunch of local business giving quite generously, but the only corporate donation at this point has been the (2) 1 day passes to disneyland. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I just received an email from Hollywood Video stating we were granted free video coupons. You have to go to their "Community Spotlight" section of their website and fill out the form. They did share with me that they are considering doing away with this because too many are requesting the free rental coupons and keeping them for personal use. You MUST be extremely specific on what you're using them for and the way they will be distributed. It only took about a month to get a confirmed donation. They did keep me informed as they were reviewing our request.
Tracy -- Could you provide addresses for places that you requested donations for. I sent one to Blockbuster but have not heard anything -- maybe I didn't send it to the right place. Thanks for your help.

just to name a few....
agreed dont give up on your local restaurants and shops. Also if you are eating out bring your letter then, I have found they will donate if they know you are a customer.
